Overview

Discover the coast on foot with the CanyonsPV hike to Colomitos and Las Ánimas, a route of bay views, tropical vegetation and beaches reached only on foot or by boat. The trail alternates between seaside paths and small beaches: Colomitos, Madagascar, El Caballo and Las Ánimas.

Walking this area lets you see the bay from different perspectives and how the mountain vegetation meets the sea. Each stretch offers something different: small coves, open views over the water and corners to enjoy and take photos.

At the Las Ánimas restaurant area you can rest and choose from the dishes available by the sea.

To finish, return on foot or take a panga (small boat) to enjoy the coastline from the water. Ask about conditions and cost of your preferred return option when booking.

Departures require a minimum of 4 participants. Maximum group size of 10 people.

I had an amazing time rappelling down several waterfalls. Esteban and his team were professional, safety focused and made the whole day unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real adventure in Puerto Vallarta.
